Your 2026 Protest Roadmap

How to secure a reduction without attending a meeting.

Our Strategy: The "No-Meeting" Protest

The majority of successful protests are settled online without ever speaking to a human. Our Evidence Packet is optimized to allow appraisal district automated settlement offers so you can lock in savings and move on. We focus on getting you the "Fast, Easy, Affordable Win."

Jan – Mid-April

Preparation & Monitoring

Status: Active / In Progress

Sit tight. The appraisal district is currently calculating values. We are monitoring the market data. If you purchased it, you have received your 2025 Baseline report from us to see where you stand today.

Key Note: You cannot protest yet. The window opens only when the appraisal district mails the official notices in mid-April.
2
Mid-April – May 15

The Filing Window (CRITICAL)

When the appraisal district mails your Notice of Appraised Value, the 30-day window opens. We will email you the Official 2026 Evidence Packet immediately.

Your Action: Log in to your appraisal district's portal, click 'File Protest', and upload our Evidence Packet.

⚠️ DEADLINE: May 15th. If you miss this date, you lose your right to protest for the year.
3
May – June

The Online Settlement (Our Goal)

After you file, the appraisal district system often provides a rapid settlement offer via email. Compare this offer to the Target Value in your packet.

Recommended Outcome:

If the offer is solid, click Accept. You're done! You saved money without a single meeting.

End of Automated Support / Beginning of Manual DIY
4
June – July

Formal ARB Hearing (Advanced DIY)

If you reject the settlement or are asked to attend a hearing, you must attend a formal appraisal hearing. You will need to present your case in person, on the phone, or via video.

Please Note: While our Evidence Packet is valid for hearings, we do not provide script support or representation for this stage. If you proceed past the settlement offer, you are entering a full DIY process.
